Marco founded Crest Capital Partners in 2017, where he is Chairman of the Board of Directors and a member of the Investment Committees of its funds.

At Crest, he was involved in the launch of the different funds and in more than 30 purchase and sale transactions, with emphasis on Gardengate, GFE or Queijo Tavares.

In 2002 he co-founded Explorer Investments, where he was exclusively dedicated to the private equity area, having participated in the raising and management of three funds, and leading more than 30 acquisition and disposal operations. Previously, he worked in the mergers and acquisitions area at BBVA in Portugal and at the Jerónimo Martins holding company.

He is invited professor of private equity at Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Lisbon).
