Global Safety Systems Group
GSS Group integrates Global Fire Equipment, a developer and manufacturer of fire detection systems, and Createch, a manufacturer of emergency signalling systems
In June 2018, CREST I acquired a relevant stake in Global Fire Equipment, that was followed in August by the acquisition of 100% of Createch.
The combined operations employ approximately 100 workers in its facilities in Algarve and have an annual turnover of 10 million euros. The companies have a notable presence in international markets, exporting 90% for more than 30 countries.
In June 2024, CREST I completed the disposal of its stake in GSS Group to Halma, a Footsie 100 listed company specialized in life saving technologies present in over 20 countries.

In December 2018, CREST I acquired a relevant stake in IRMARFER GROUP, a manufacturer of event structures, tents and stages. IRMARFER GROUP has 230 employers and an annual turnover of 18 million euros.
IRMARFER GROUP exports 40% of its annual turnover and has projects in Europe, South America, Middle East and Africa. The most reputable projects by IRMARFER GROUP include the Olympic Games, Rock in Rio or the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup.

CPM.Penta Group is a leading Iberian manufacturer of labels, sleeves and flexible packaging
In February 2019, CREST I acquired a relevant stake in Penta Adhesiv, a manufacturer of labels and flexible packaging. Penta Adhesiv had 80 employers and an annual turnover of 10 million euros.
In December 2019, CREST I reinforced its presence in the sector with the acquisition of CPM Internacional, a Spanish manufacturer focused on wrap-around labels, sleeves and flexible packaging with an annual turnover of 15 million euros, creating CPM Penta Group.
CREST I completed, in September 2023, the disposal of its stake in CPM.Penta Group to Grupo Lappí, an European leader in the labels and flexible packaging market.

Grupo Queijos Tavares
Queijos Tavares Group is Portugal’s leader in the regional cheese sector
In April 2019, CREST I acquired a relevant stake in Queijos Tavares, the national leader in the sheep’s cheese sector and a top player in the traditional cheese market. Queijos Tavares recorded in 2018 an annual turnover of approximately 13 million euros. It operates a modern facility with 4,000 sqm in Seia located in the famous Serra da Estrela area.
In July 2019, CREST I concluded the acquisition of 100% of Ribeiro & Guimarães, a leading sheep cheese producer. In September 2019, DAMAR was acquired. Additionally, in December 2020, Crest I acquired Serqueijos, a leading cheese producer in Rabaçal Region.

In October 2019, CREST I acquired a relevant stake in Gardengate. The company operates from 10 production facilities in the north of Portugal, employing approximately 500 workers and generating annual sales of 60 million euros, of which more than 55 million to international markets.
CREST I completed, in October 2021, the disposal of a majority stake in Gardengate to Equistone Partners Europe. CREST I will retain a minority stake alongside the founder and management team (see Press Release).

Grupo Arteche Paper
Arteche Group is an Iberian leader in the coreboard paper and paper cores sector
In December 2019, CREST I acquired a relevant stake in the Arteche Group, which is composed by three companies: Papeleira Coreboard, Spiralpack and Cicarsa. Papeleira is Portugal’s leading producer of coreboard paper, while Spiralpack and Cicarsa are relevant players in the Portuguese and Spanish paper cores market. Together, the three companies had net sales of 30 million euros in 2019.
In January 2021, the Group concluded the acquisition of Embalpack Levante, an edge protector manufacturer from Valência.
CREST I completed, in March 2023, the disposal of its stake in Arteche to Corex, part of VPK Group.

In August 2020, CREST I acquired three complementary companies (LM Perfis, Flexidoor and Tecnopan) to create the largest sectional garage doors manufacturer in Iberia. LM Perfis and Flexidoor are specialized in the production and sale of garage doors mainly in the Iberian Peninsula and France. Tecnopan is its main provider of sandwich panels.
The Rollerdoor Group employs more than 200 workers and generates an annual turnover of more than 30 million euros.
In 2024, the Group acquired Valportas, a manufacturer of sectional doors with a strong presence in the Northern region of Portugal.

The company recently concluded a significant investment to increase production capacity and to internalize the production of complementary products previously outsourced. Banhoazis currently employs more than 135 workers and generates around 12 million euros in sales across Portugal, Spain and France.
Crest II concluded, in May 2022, the acquisition of an important stake in Roriz Group, integrating Torneiras Roriz and W2007. The new group jointly report 23 million euros in annual turnover.

In June 2022, CREST II acquired a relevant stake in Auto Delta, a leading Portuguese independent car part wholesaler with a large product offer of more than 110,000 references permanently available and a distribution network with nation-wide same day delivery.
In December 2022, with the acquisition of Fimag and Alecarpeças, the Dualparts Group was created from the consolidation of these three independent car parts distributors, becoming the leader in the Portuguese aftermarket. The Group operates 10 warehouses (where ~175 thousand different references are permanently available) that provide full coverage of the Portuguese territory and allow >4,500 orders to be fulfilled daily.
The Group employs 265 employees and has, in 2022, consolidated sales close to 70 million euros.

The company’s core business combines the distribution of pool equipment and consumables (e.g. water treatment chemicals) with the wholesale of garden maintenance products. As a non core business, it also trades composites used by several industries.
Ecocompósitos employs 55 people and operates three warehouses (Algarve, Greater Lisbon and Greater Porto areas) with a 16.000 sqm storage capacity that supplies 1800 retailers across Portugal. The total annual turnover is €25 million.
In June 2024, CIMAI was acquired, a Portuguese company that develops and manufactures professional chemical products for water treatment and hygiene.

The Company works with the majority of venues and municipalities in Portugal, as well as with leading event promoters, providing support in ticket management and commercialization, event promotion and access control.
BOL counts with a workforce comprised by 23 employees and in 2023 achieved sales of 3.6 million euros.

The Company employs around 215 people and counts with a broad base of equipment, including video, audio, lightning and metal structures. In 2022, AVK reported an annual turnover of 21 million euros.
