António Lobato Faria
António has integrated Crest Capital Partners since its inception in 2017, where he is ESG & Operating Partner. Since 2022, he is responsible for sustainability issues.
At Crest, he worked on the implementation of several production improvement and product enhancement projects in subsidiaries, with emphasis on Queijos Tavares, Rollerdoor or Campotec.
From 1999 to 2009, he was founder and CEO of the Oficina do Livro, one of Portugal’s leading publishing groups. There, between 2006 and 2008 in partnership with Explorer Investments, he participated in MBO, acquisition and sale operations of this group. More recently, he was a consultant for B2C companies, having previously worked in the marketing departments of TAP – Air Portugal and Somague Ambiente.
He has a degree in Economics and an MSc in Industrial Management from ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management, and holds an ESG Leadership Certificate from Judge Business School (Cambridge). He was assistant professor of Microeconomics at ISG (Lisbon) and of Strategic Management at Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Lisbon).
